Music is a timeless thing, whose origins lie with the beginnings of us as a species, one of the tell tale signs of intelligence emotions and sentience. I think it is fair to say music plays a incredible role in all our lives, from the concertos of Mozart and Beethoven to the less refined music of Metallica.
The relatively new medium of radio and television even cassette’s and vinyl records compared to the span of musical existence has allowed millions to experience the highs and lows of constructed and measured “noise” it is something many of us use to relax, to prepare, to grieve and to love without such a medium.
This is a project following the band Control whilst they performed for BBC radio stokes subculture show that goes on air every Thursday at around 7 until 9 a local band that have been together for a few years.
